Good Sam Club Fuel Savings!
Lots of great questions, and answers, posted over the last few days in various threads about fuel savings at Pilot Flying J. We’ve taken the opportunity to consolidate the information below in this new post (while closing the other threads on this same topic) for everyone’s convenience!
Here are the details about TWO great ways for Good Sam Club members to save:
GOOD SAM CLUB “SWIPE & SAVE” MEMBERSHIP CARD
Member Savings:
- Gas & Diesel (U.S.): save 3¢ per gallon
- Gas & Diesel (Canada): save 1¢ per liter
- Propane: save 5¢ per gallon
- Waste Dump: save $2.50 (off $10 fee)
- Special pricing & deals in Pilot and Flying J retail stores & restaurants
Good Sam Club members do not need to "sign up" for a separate Pilot Flying J card. Your new Good Sam Club membership card will also provide discounts at Pilot Flying J. There is no need to activate the card, it’s ready to use at Pilot Flying J upon receipt.
How to Get the Good Sam Club “Swipe & Save” Membership Card:
Join the Good Sam Club or renew your membership and the new card will be mailed to you in 2-3 weeks. Life & Elite members can contact Member Services at 1-800-234-3450 to request the new Swipe & Save version of the Life or Elite Good Sam Club membership card.
Form of Payment:
Simply use your own form of payment in conjunction with the new Swipe & Save card and receive discounts at the pump! You will receive your 3¢ discount on your fuel when you swipe your Swipe & Save card, and that discount will come off the Cash or Credit price, depending on what form of payment you use.
Does it work at truck lanes?
You will need to come inside, scan your card, and prepay in order to use at the truck lanes. You will NOT need to come inside using the RV or other lanes.

The required form of payment is the RV Plus Charge Card. When paying your RV Plus Charge Card bill, you can mail a check, pay online or have the amount auto-drafted each month. Find more details on this charge card.
Does it work at truck lanes?
Yes, the RV Plus Charge Card can be used at the truck diesel lanes. Simply swipe your RV Plus Charge Card at the fuel lane and you’re good to go! And, when you use the RV Plus Charge Card you will always receive your discount off the cash price!
PILOT FLYING J RV MY REWARDS CARD/RV FREQUENT FUELER CARD
What is the status of the RV MyRewards card?
The old RV Real Value, RV Frequent Fueler Advantage, and RV MyRewards cards will no longer be issued by Pilot Flying J. That being said, all RV loyalty cards currently in use will remain active for the next several months. Going forward, the only way to receive fuel discounts at Pilot Flying J will be through joining Good Sam Club and using either the new Swipe & Save Good Sam Club Membership card or applying for the Pilot Flying J RV Plus Charge Card. (Professional driver MyRewards loyalty cards will continue to be issued to professional truck drivers at all Pilot and Flying J locations.)
The Swipe & Save Good Sam Club Membership card is a great new way for Good Sam members to save on their fuel purchases! We are very excited to be able to offer this in conjunction with the RV Plus Charge Card—exclusively to Good Sam Club members!
