The comment that kinda started it all, in my opinion is the statement
Good Sam Logo and it's dated and questionable appropriateness as a symbol for GSE
of course, as the mod pointed out, the OP changed his religious complaint to "questionable appropriateness".
Westernrvparkowner, as you pointed out in your response, you didn't even associate a religious affiliation or point of the logo.
Sure, maybe it's kinda corny, sure.. maybe it's a little goofy... whatever. Have ya'll seen commercials lately. Some of the best commercials, that stick with me, are the goofy ones. So, having a goofy logo actually makes it memorable.
Let's be honest and realize that someone, somewhere will ALWAYS find fault in anything and everything. And I am perfectly okay with folks stating their opinion on something.. I served 22 years in the military defending every American's right to state their opinion. It's when folks take it too far, and try to force their views on others, and force businesses to change, that I take issue with.
A business has the right to run their business any way they please, and we, as patrons, have the right to do business with them, or choose not to. We do NOT have the right to try to force them to comply with our view of the world. We vote with our dollars.
Westernrvparkowner, I think if someone decided not to rent a spot at your park, because you displayed the logo, I suspect that is someone that would probably find issue with something else at your park, however nit picky.
I simply find it incredible that 4x4Dodger is so upset/fixated on his logo issues, that he felt the need to repost three or four times, yet (a) he is a Good Sams Club member and (b) he displays the logo as part of his member profile. In essence, saying I want this discount and all the benefits, but you suck as a company because you won't listen to me and make your logo conform to what I think it should be.
