Good Sam Logo Why the fear of questions?

To the Admin:

I have posted two posts about the Good Sam Logo and it's dated and questionable appropriateness as a symbol for GSE.

In my latest post I asked for others opinions sort of a poll to see if others felt as I did. And asked for suggestions of new logos.

Both posts were removed without comment or explanation.

This is strange since Marcus Lemonis has stated here on this forum more than once that discussion of and criticism of ANY PART of the GSE companies or their vendors is not only OK but WELCOME.

Now my posts were not overtly critical but they did question the appropriateness of the logo given it's history and it's iconography.

So Please honor me with an explanation of why the moderators seem so fearful of this discussion.

It seems to me that a new, sleek, modern logo that is inclusive and speaks to the larger mission of GSE would be a good thing. Every company updates their logos as time goes by. Think Aunt Jemima pancakes...and like that logo I think it's time for GSE to look at theirs.

Some exploration of this topic might reveal to GSE that the logo is not working as they think.

I have a relatively large body of posts on this forum. I have done my best at all times to hew to the rules. I stay civil, even under attack by others in a personal way. I don't engage in prohibited topics. So I am at a loss to understand why these have been totally deleted without so much as the honor of a comment or explanation? Surely one deserves that at a minimum?

A private company can be as religious as it wishes and I certainly will defend that right. Nevertheless, most know that the name Good Sam was a derivative of the good Samaritan story.

The logo includes a halo, which is used in many nonreligious ways. Anyone remember an old tv show called "The Saint"?

I think the logo is fine and whether you realize it or not, it has evolved over time.

It requires very serious consideration before a company changes its trademark/logo. It is not done on a whim.

As to deleting posts, there is no user of this forum that makes nearly as many critical posts about Good Sam as you. I have to wonder, why are you a member?
