Good Sam Mail Service

Postal service delivers all mail to that address to them they do not sort it by the PMB#. Once at Good Sam it is sorted by number.

That's what I thought, Gary. And the fact that I have an actual number assigned to me and it doesn't just go to Good Sam with no number, that confused me. I may still try it and see what happens. I have nothing to lose.

As I said, I don't want to let individuals know my new address, but that's a personal matter.

Thank you for contacting Good Sam. We suggest you reach out to the United States Postal Service to submit a change of address then contact each individual company that sends you mail to update your address with them. Once these actions are completed, you can cancel your mail forwarding service if it's no longer needed. Please let us know if you need further assistance.

Just keep it long enough to notify everyone and mail starts to arrive there then cancel. I'm going through it now.

Okay. Thanks for sharing your experiences. I'll have to go that route, then. I really can't justify the expense of keeping the box now that I'm not moving around like I was.

That address is a business. So the postal service will not forward. You will have to contact every one and give them new address. in the mean time keep that box and have them forward it. After every one is notified and mail going to new address then cancel.

She is correct. We couldn't do it either. Had to notify everyone. Only time we could do that was when the mail forwarding company went out of business.
