To add to this topic consider this:
Weeks ago I picked up the entire catalog at the Tucson store. About two weeks later I went in to buy something advertised in that catalog with a sale price on it...It was a battery switch.
When I got there I found out that the price was $10 HIGHER than the sale price in the catalog. When I politely questioned this they pointed out to me the small print on the bottom of the page which I admit missing completely, that said all sale prices were only good thru MAY 5th!
This in the YEARLY catalog...yes the one good for an entire year.
I told the store at that point they either needed to take that catalog out of distribution or warn people that the sale prices were no longer effective. At the very least there needs to be a Large print disclaimer on one of the first pages.
The fair thing to do would be to make those sale prices good for the entire term of the catalog or take them out altogether.
While this was my oversight I am sure I am not the first customer to which this has happened and it reflects the sloppy and frankly cynical approach CW often takes with it's customers on so many issues.
If CW truly values it's customers it would address these kinds of issues promptly.
