Good Sam Roadside Assistance Price Increase

Five years ago when I upgraded from the Standard to the Platinum Plan, the cost delta was small enough that it was a no-brainer. Now it's a considerable difference. Furthermore, I kept my AAA coverage as well since there never seemed to be any sort of consensus regarding the best Roadside Assistance company. In fact, the prevailing opinion seemed to be that "...they all suck under certain circumstances". However, it does seem as though Coachnet has more fans than naysayers.

Let it expire. They'll give you a better rate to get you back. My rate didn't go up but I already switched to Coachnet a few months ago.

Thank you for your post. Good Sam Roadside was forced to increase the renewal rate for just Good Sam Platinum Plus memberships. Good Sam Roadside does have two other membership levels that provide very similar service and are at a significant lower annual cost. I would suggest calling one of our member service agents and see if one of our other programs will meet your needs and also save you money. The 24/7 contact number is 800-234-3450.

Call and tell them you want a heck of a lot better deal than that or you will change to Coachnet.

Maybe that is for two years.

I just checked their website. The RV Platinum is $114.95 a year.
Maybe that is for new members only?
Which plan do you have?
