GS Travel Assist Scam Email
I recently received two emails, allegedly from Good Sam, subject Important Reminder About Your Membership. Here's the text:
I called that number, mostly because I was curious, since I knew very well that my account was up-to-date. What I got was a load of telemarketing junk. I have no doubt at all that it's a scam.
Called Good Sam and told them their email has been hacked. Their IT folks are looking into it.
Meanwhile, if you get a similar email, and it has any number except 888-853-7333 on it, do not call. Instead, call GS at the correct number (888-853-7333) to doublecheck your accounts, and tell them about the fake emails.
To better serve you, please call us at 888-496-8762 to ensure your account is up-to-date and we have your current email address and mailing address on file.
