Hats off to these guys

I've been a member of the Good Sam roadside assistance program for 5 years now and called them for the first time tonight. Campsite was steep and a sharp back in, but I had it lined up and ready to go. Was ready for the last push into the site and lost reverse in the truck. Stuck and blocking the CG access. Called GS and was on hold for a realllly long time but the guy got a tow truck sent out. Truck still had forward gears so didn't need a tow on that, but the flatbed driver took his time to get my TT backed into the site and even helped me level it! What's more he was willing to work with the Hensley Hitch and not make me remove it.

Here's where I was stuck. I dropped the TT and the flatbed driver was able to get me parked.

VERY satisfied with the GS roadside assistance. Spoke to a guy names Sean (Shawn?) and we was on his game and got it done for me. I would recommend that everybody on the board here have GS roadside assistance. They exceeded my expectations on my first call for help!

  • Good to hear. I have had good dealings with GS as well. Met up with a guy that lost the lower gears in his tranny at a truckstop in Arizona yesterday. He was unable to pull his 5'er all the way into the truckstop so he dropped it right there in the exit. I'm sure he was wishing he had GS at that moment
  • Always good to hear something positive, all to often the only things we hear are from dissatisfied customers.
