Any thoughts?You made the same mistake a lot of insurance policy holders make: not understanding what the policies actually cover or not cover and assumed too much.
Lesson learned, move on, try to find the coverage you are looking for. If that particular coverage is not available to you, you just have to assume the risk, be better prepared to cover the costs out of your own pocket, or change what you are now doing. What if you were in an accident that wasn't your fault and the other person had no insurance at all? There are thousands of illegals driving here in the U.S. without auto insurance.
