HELP

I broke down on Saturday 8/5 at 3 in the morning. We were driving from NJ to Disney and about 450 miles in apparently the turbo charger failed going up a steep upgrade on Rt 77S about 20 moles from the VA/NC border. After barely making it off the highway Good Sams Roadside assistance would not arrange for a tow at that hour of the morning and said I would have to call back later in the morning which I did. The customer service rep said they could not find a towing service on the weekend with a tow truck big enough for my 40 ft. motorhome. She suggested a remain at my location until Monday when more towing shops would be open. INCREDIBLE! So I Google 24 hour towing near my location and found Lesters Towing in Lamsburg, VA which was about 15 miles from my location. Good Sam's said they would be acceptable and Lesters arrived and towed me to their shop. There they confirmed that the turbo charger had blown. They euld not be able to get the parts until Monday so they hooked me up to electric in their tow yard and I was welcomed to stay in the motorhome until the repair could be compelted on Monday.

Lesters called Good Sam's extended warranty on my behalf with an estimate of close to $5k for turbo charger, inter cooler, oil,and filters. Apparently when the charger explodes it sends metal through the entire system requiring all the estimated repairs. Good Sam's extended warranty refuses to authorize the repair until they see my service records which are back home 450 miles a way. I did provide them a service log of my oil changes for the past 8 years all of which I performed my self all within 5k mile intervals. Good sams wants me to pay the 5k bill and will coNader reimbursement later.

I FEEL TOTALLY ABANDONED BY THE ENTIRE GOOD SAM'S ORGANIZATION ESPECIALLY THE EXTENDED SERVICE PLAN AREA. AS USUAL THEY ARE WORKING ON HOW NOT TO PAY VS. ASSISTING ME ON THE ROAD. I HAVE NOW SPENT 4 DAYS IN A TOW YARD WAITING TO JOIN MY FAMILY IN DISNEY. THEY COMPLETED THE TRIP IN OUR TOW VEHICLE LEAVING THE DOGS WITH ME IN VIRGINIA.

I REMAIN ABANDONED BY GOOD SAM'S IN A STALEMATE OVER MY LEGITIMATE CLAIM FOR A COVERED REPAIR. THE BACK OF MY EXTENDED WARRANTY CARD SAYS TO HAVE THE SERVICE CENTER SUBMIT AN ESTIMATE FOR AUTHORIZATION AND TO SIT BACK AND RELAX WHILE GS ESP WORKS WITH THE VENDOR SO THAT I JUST PAY THE DEDUCTIBLE AND ANY NON COVERED ITEMS. THIS IS NOT MY EXPERIENCE AT ALL! I SIT IN A TOW YARD NOW FOR THE 4TH DAY WHILE THE REST OF MY FAMILY IS COMPLETING OUR 1 WEEK VACATION IN DISNEY. GSESP COULD CARE LESS AND ARE NOT HEPPING ME TO GET BACK ON THE ROAD. THIS IS MY WORST CUSTOMER EXERIENCE EVER. I AM Now told GS is sending an inspector out to verify the turbo charger is on fact broke.n. As if o made this whole thing up and stayed in a tow yard 450 miles from home instead of being in Disney with my family.
