Bumpy is correct that is what is known as the 125 mile rule. You are not allowed to use your reciprocal membership within 125 air miles of your home. Your home is defined as the address on your drivers license.

That 125 mile rule only applies to classic resorts and it is from your home resort, not home address.

so one should therefore select a home resort over 125 miles from an assortment of classic resorts at a reasonable distance from one's actual location?

  • Coast to Coast isn't what it used to be. As Coast affiliates drop out, they are being replaced with Good Neighbor Parks where use of trip point are no longer allowed, plus one cannot make a reservation online with the Good Neighbor park. It is necessary to call the Good Neighbor park you wish to stay at, hope they answer the phone, if they do, you give them your membership number to get your "special discount" I much prefer making reservations online. I have some trip points to be used, and when they're gone, so am I.

  • years back, somebody here said not to make your home park anywhere near your actual home. seems you are banned from using it at parks within X miles of the HP so you can't use it around your real home.

  • Coast to Coast is a reciprocal membership which can only be purchased through the park system where you purchased your home park.
