Honoring mail preference requests.
I am a long time GS member, and Have successfully avoided being deluged with GS related junk mail for many years now. I assumed that this was because the company honored and respected my "preferences" as noted in my member profile. A few months ago we bought a used coach from a dealer with no relationship to Camping World, or GS.In the process of shopping for our RV, we made a few small purchases, and looked at a few used Class As, at several camping worlds. Since that time we have been deluged with trash from both Camping World and GS extended service plans.
When I called to ask to have my name removed from the extended service plan mail bombing, they asked for my last name and zip code, then quickly noted that I am a member. If you know that I am a member, and that I have requested that you REFRAIN from deluging me with junk mail, why can't you respect that request? Not only is it a waste of time to send me trash that ends up unopened in the garbage can, it also angers me that I need to once again waste my time and effort to get you to stop this practice. Why is this acceptable?
