How to be removed from Good Sam mailings:

I called 866-601-2322 and the nice person who answered the phone said she would take us off of the mailing list for Extended Service. She asked me about several different types of mailings they do and she said they would stop all of them.

From sort of being in the mailing business a long time ago, I know that these types of mailings are printed in bulk, palletized, warehoused and then shipped to the Post Office to go out at a certain time. So there are other mailings (to me) that are being printed at this moment. It will probably be two months before all of them work their way out of the system, but I do expect them to stop.

  • Trackrig / Bill - Thank you for sharing that because I've often wondered how that process worked. But as for me, as silly as it may sound, I'm happy to get any kind of mail. When one is truly alone, as I am, even something as small or insignificant as a circular addressed to current occupant helps to break up the day. Looking forward to the upcoming camping season!

    That is pretty accurate Bill and I appreciate the post. We tell customers to wait at least six weeks after there first request to notify us if they are still receiving mail. Please let us know if you are still receiving mail after the two month period.
