As the freebies are probably outsourced to a fulfillment place and you made an unusual request it is no surprise that what you asked for did not happn.
I understand why but I do not understand that you would believe the world is geared to do as you say even if it is not a standard request.
Sorry I think it is your unrealistic expectation that is causing the problem.
