Yes they will is short answer.
But the balancing is the biggest problem. The balancing will be by throwing a balancing bag of beads into the tire or a powder. If they use that, it could cause problems with your valve stem. With the bag of stuff until it finds the optimum balance your vehicle may not drive well specially if it happens to be a steer tire on your rig.
Another factor is that it MAY cause you to be delayed more than with a fully mounted spare. It is easier (specially in remote areas) to find someone to come change a tire than to CORRECTLY mount a tire and change it.
