Keep in mind that Assurant Solutions is a huge multi-national enterprise that has hundreds of thousands of custoemrs in all types of insurance, including health insurance.

The division we work with is United Service Protection Corp in St. Petersburg. The have the oldest Vehicle Service Contract license in Florida. They value the Good Sam/Camping World business and have always been very responsive to customer service issues.

In addition to that, my staff is here to insure that our members are treated fairly during the claims process. That's something that you won't find with most RV service contracts- a costomer advocate after the sale.

I have a plan with Assurant Solutions I purchased when I bought my motorhome at Camping World. I would NOT purchase it again from them. I have had to fight for them to honor almost every claim. It seems that if you take the motorhome back to Camping World for a service claim it is more likely to be honored, but if you take it elsewhere it is never honored, but at many Camping World's your RV is out of service for a lot longer than other service centers. You should consider some other company for a service policy.

I would not do business with Assurant Solutions, or American Bankers Insurance of Florida, which is owned by Assurant Solutions. They do have a BBB rating of A+, but BBB complaints of over 1100, with over 350 within the last 12 months. Google Assurant Solutions and see how many bad reviews they have to see for yourself.

I'll do research on QBE, but I would prefer an American company.

Happy to. There are actually two different Good Sam ESP programs. If you buy ESP from Camping World when you purchase and RV, the program is administered by Assurant Solutions and is insured by American Bankers.

If you already own your RV and you buy Good Sam ESP directly from Good Sam, the program is administered and insured by QBE Insurance (Europe) Limited.

Both of these insurers are "A" rated and I have worked with both administrators for close to 20 years. Good Sam is very comfortable standing behind both of these programs.
