Sorry to hear about the breakdown and disruption of your vacation plans. I appreciate reading about it and the responses since it clarifies for me just what to expect when you have GSRA.
Of course our first concern is safety. After that it's convenience. My expectation at this point is that roadside assistance will get my vehicle off the road to a place that can do the required repair. How much time it takes to accomplish either will depend on the particular situation (place, time, repair required).
I would be interested in what criteria GS uses to designate a facility as a "professional service center capable and willing to repair your vehicle".
