We have to remember that the folks that show up at your RV are NOT GS employees. They are contractor's (provider's) that GS / Allstate do business with. Each "provider" has their own business they run. Having said that, keep in mind that there are some provider's that just don't measure up. Most (95%+) do an outstanding job when they arrive at your RV. The remaining minority give GS a bad name.
I can't imagine the chaos and stress caused when the owner of an RV calls GS dispatcher's for service. The dispatcher has to locate a local prover to take the service call. Contact that provider and send them to your RV, Sometimes the provider might be a small operation and has other customers standing in front of him waiting as well causing a backup.
During my past 12+ years with GSRA I have called them maybe 5 times. Only ONCE did I get bad service from a "provider". GSRA stepped up and made it right. They also terminated the contract between GS and the provider. GS did their job but the provider didn't.
