Kudos to GSRA (sorry kind of long)
I would like to report on my most recent experience with GSRA. My 40' Monaco Dynasty was disabled due to a throttle issue and air system leak and sitting on the street in front of my house. I called GSRA on Thursday (10/3) to arrange a tow to Sacramento Truck center which is approximately 14 miles from my house. I had already contacted Village RV which is less than 2 miles away to see if they could handle the repairs and was told they refer all of their chassis work to Sacramento Truck. When I called GSRA I explained the situation regarding Village RV and they said that was fine and they authorized the tow to Sacramento Truck. I made an appointment at Sacramento Truck for the next day (Friday 10/4). As promised, GSRA called me at 8:00 am on Friday and verified that I still needed service. They called back at 9:00 am and said they had located a tow provider, but they could not arrive until about 1:15 pm. That was fine with me since the truck center had given me an open ended appointment time for the coach to be dropped off. The driver from Jake's towing arrived right on schedule and went right to work. He got the coach hooked up and secured, removed the driveline, attached an air line and emergency lights and proceeded to tow the coach while I followed. We arrived at the truck center where they were waiting for us. The driver placed the coach inside a service bay, reattached the driveline, got everything unhooked and Sacramento Truck is ready to begin working on the coach issues Monday morning. I forgot to mention that GSRA also kept in contact with Sacramento Truck to update them on our ETA. Fortunately this is only the third time I have had to use GSRA in the 12 years I have been a member, and I have received excellent service every time, including on a stormy New Years Day when I had a flat on the Saturn we were towing at the time. I know there are some who have not always had the positive experiences I have had, but I just wanted to tell everyone that for me, GSRA has proven to be a valuable asset. Thanks again to the folks who work the call center for the great service you provide.
