We managed to lock both sets of keys in the trailer while it was sitting in our driveway. Wife called roadside assistance and made arrangements for someone to come out today (a Sunday). Within in 30 minutes service guy called confirmed address and what the problem was. Said it would be an hour before he could get there, but since the trailer was in our driveway we told him not to break the speed limit, but we would like it done today. About an hour and a half they showed up and were able to snake the keys off the counter and get us back into the trailer. Great job by Browns Trucking Service in Marion, NC; and excellent service from the roadside assistance people. :)

There by the grace of God go I. Seriously I've now trained myself to manually lock the TV and TT with key or clicker every time.

I had changed out the lock set, so it wasn't a standard key. When I realized what we had done, I checked online and the web site stated that they do not key their locks the same, nor do they keep spare keys. It was our own fault, we both brought a set into the trailer and I had apparently locked the door handle when I pulled my key out.

Still, the assistance was excellent.

I use a 'real estate' lock box, semi hidden in the unlocked propane compartment of the MH. Got our from Princess Auto in Canada, but probably available at Harbour Freight or other discounters.

It's a standard key that's easy to come by if it happens again. I never lock it up anyway

I too keep a door and ignition key in a non-locking compartment, hidden and secure. We were at the beach with the family and friends when on of the children must have pressed on the lock before leaving the coach. Shortly thereafter we found we were locked out. As luck would have it, the bathroom window was ajar, and we were able to shove one of the children up and through the window to open the door.
