Is it better than what we use today? I didn't get my Highways Magazine, which could explain why. Maybe it will show up in a day or two.

Thank you all for posting on this. The new Good Sam Map Search feature was not set to go at time of publishing of the most recent Highways. However we have been told that it will be up very soon for use by all members.

The Map Search feature is supposed to be accessed simply through www.GoodSamClub.com/trave/campgroundsandrvparks.

It is under "Plan A Trip", "Route Your Rv Trip" after you login. You can select different campgrounds on the form you fill out.

I spent quite a bit of time trying to get the Map Search feature to work but no such luck. I will think the best that the rollout date has not occurred yet.

I am looking forward to what Map Search has to offer. Good Sam took over and replaced Woodalls. Good Sam site as currently configured is a waste of time compared to the old Woodalls. Good Sam advertisers come up first (no matter how close to destination), state parks and USFS sites are difficult to find in the list, parks are not listed by distance to destination. I hope the new features correct these short comings. Right now I don't use Good Sam as my primary search engine.

Right now my wish is to bring back Woodalls.

I am guessing this is a classic case of the publishing deadline falling before the map was 100% ready. I'd bet that they THOUGHT it would be ready but ran into some kind of unexpected problem. By that time the magazine was well into production. Looks nice though, even though we don't have it yet!
