In all honesty. The truck series IMOP, Is the closest thing to real racing you are going to find in todays world. I enjoy it much more than Cup. Those drivers WANT to win, and do all they can to do so.

I'm really surprised that the truck races are still going. They definitely do not get the fan support as the others do. I guess it's dependent all upon the sponsorship.

Everyone remember Ted Musgrave? He lives about a mile to mile and half down the road from me.

I think a lot of it is when they run the trucks. Friday night mostly, and that's a tough time slot. But I like them best.

But they don't have to change it for the worse. Remember IROC? That is where NASCAR is headed, and if you will remember IROC didn't last too long. No one wants to see everyone drive the same car. This new car is a tiny step in the right direction. But they still have a long way to go to get their fans back.

Terryallan, this will be the 1st time NASCAR Truck racing returns to "dirt" since the 60's. Eldora Speedway is a 1/2 mile dirt track which has been popular for years. Tony Stewart bought it sometime back, and it is just a few miles up the road here in rural Ohio. It should be an interesting race & fun race.

RVman, one of my next door neighbors is the engineer for Trevor Baynes Nationwide car. The last few years he had Ricky Stenhouse Jr and they won a couple of championships. My other next door neighbor (on the other side of me) works for Carl Edwards cup team. He does fabrication and pit crew support. I live tow miles from where Kyle Busch got his ticket. He lived about another mile away before he bought the most expensive house in the Charlotte region over in Denver, NC. It's great living down here.

If you mean the one beside Steve White Chrysler Dealership. Then no. It's a trailer parts place now.

Can't remember what was next to it, but it was on a corner. Same side as the mall.

I remember going to races and walking threw the pits .. The Winston girls would give out a brand new full pack of Winston's in trade for any pack of any other brand , no matter ow many we're left.... Racing was racing , not a business,,,, I still enjoy it and try to hit 3-4 races a year ( both at Richmond and 1 or both Dover's) but its not the same... Fireball Roberts... Awesome Bill... Cale... Not the same

He also has 2 new shows coming out one is the big fix it is like shark tank and he gives out 2 million dollars.And the other is The profit a reality show they are one cnbc i believe.
