Membership Docs / Packet
Curious about what all is or should be included with a new membership.
We were at a Camping World store last week and when we went to check out were asked if we were Good Sam members and I showed my temporary card. One of the items that we were purchasing was a 2018 Travel Guide - The checkout clerk said that unless we really needed it right away that we should wait for the "black folder" from Good Sam and we'd get a guide and membership info and related stuff so we put the book back, thanked her, and headed on our way.
Fast forward to yesterday when we received our new membership cards/letter (2-year) and a Camping World coupon in the mail, but nothing more. I understand that more and more things have moved online, and I've been away from RVing for a few years (cruising sailboat) but it does seem like there was more of a membership packet than just cards in years past.
So, was the Camping World person correct and I should I expect some sort of membership packet/guide in addition to the cards that we received, or is everything now based on the website and barcoded/mag-stripped membership cards?
