To slightly change the subject here ... I too have a Demco Kar Kaddy and seem to be plagued with blowouts. Exactly like your experience, I lost two tires on the same trip when we first purchased the used dolly in December of 2012. This was my fault for rolling with aged tires. In our last two trips, we lost one tire each plus the fenders - again. Do these tires only last 2 years? When not in use, it's stored in my garage out of the weather. Anyone switch to a higher load range tire? I am really thinking I want to get rid of the dolly and move to a 4-down toad. I'm currently hauling a Nissan Murano (FWD) with the dolly and I don't think it's overloaded. The dolly is rated for 4700 lbs. The car is approx 3800.
