Had their insurance when I purchased my 5ver toy hauler. After the first year, I get a notice that my rates were changed (increased 10%) due to my credit rating. That's a laugh, my credit rating is super-excellent. I requested information on specifics, all I got back was the name of the credit rating source they used. Cancelled that policy, went to State Farm at a much lower rate.
Not trashing the GS insurance, but cannot understand the reason for the rate increase. Progressive did a similar thing to me on some motorcycle insurance, almost doubled the rate with no claims after one year, but at least they attributed it to their underwriter rate adjustments for the entire state and didn't attempt to put it off as some phoney credit hocus-pocus.
