Not to burst your bubble, but all you have now is more words and still no action at the present. I certainly hope you get some satisfaction, but from the track record of who you are dealing with, I'm not quite as optimistic. We have a friend who got all kinds of "help" from the customer service reps and just like everyone else. . . they lied. Years later, he has still not received the $500 free card he was to receive.
So please continue to keep us informed. That may be your best weapon. And don't forget you can still use the insurance commissioner in your state if you need to. I have always gotten satisfaction when I used them, along with my meticulously kept records, like you have.
Thanks Dale but let me assure you i have more than promises, the email from NGIC included a revised repair estimate reflecting their consent to pay the higher figure and that is a legal document that has also been provided to the dealer . Furthermore they asked if I want the check sent to me or the repair shop and promised to process immediately. I had to go through the same thing at the first repair facility that it was towed and when I finally got them to do the right thing the check followed almost immediately. So I am confident this affair is finally coming to a satisfactory conclusion. Just as a point of information I had already authorized my dealer to commence repairs over ten days ago and assured them that I would deal with the insurance company and guarantee payment of any deficit if unable to prevail with the insurance company.
