Need GS ESP to answer question please
My camper is currently under repairs at CW of Biloxi, MS.
The 12V wiring burned up. The CW technician found the problem. The 12 positive feed wire was pinched between the camper frame and the floor. Over time the wire shorted to the frame. This burned up all of the 12V supply lines, and a lot of the 12V distribution lines (lights, brakes etc.) and it caused the battery to explode and catch fire.
ESP authorized replacing the wiring only. They are refusing to replace the battery. I understand there is a clause excluding batteries from the warranty. That is to keep ESP from replacing dead batteries every 5 years, which are a "consumable item" and understandable.
Not to exclude the battery because of a manufacturer's wiring issue that caused a fire and the battery to explode.
I would like to speak to someone from GS ESP about this please.
Thank you
