after reading through this thread, I decided to check out the two major independent RV roadside service providers ....
here are two links
one to GoodSam
one to Coach-Net
we've had coverage from GoodSam for a many years and have had a few claims .... some have been well handled .... some have been bungled .... the last time was very poorly handled .... specifically, we were on the Beltline around Raleigh, NC that is within the Raleigh city Limits .... after two call backs from GoodSam, I was told there aren't any towing companies in the area of our breakdown .... she said she'd look in other areas and call back .... by the time that call came I'd called the repair facility for our truck which was about 10 miles and was given the name of 4 local towing companies that routinely come to their garage .... I gave her the info and eventually one came to tow our rig
our current coverage expires in April and this year I do not plan to just re-up .... here is a link to Coach-Net and one to GoodSam .... we currently have GoodSam's mid level Platinum coverage which cost us $139.95 a year .... at that price we can purchase Coach-Net's highest level Premier coverage .... we have time to look more closely and see when direction we want to go come renewal time

As I understand it both use the same service/tow providers, so it really becomes just a matter of whom is cheapest at the time.
