If you're paying cash for the Class C you can probably get away with liability and property damage insurance only, (no loan) because of the age of the camper it makes it virtually impossible for you to ever recoup any money in the event of damage on your part (or an act of nature or theft --- with full coverage). Just like with your family car, once it reaches a certain age, it's just not worth it to keep full coverage because the insurance will never pay enough to replace or sometimes even fix it. It will be totaled out and you'll be paid off what little value the camper has, which probably will not be very much and definitely not enough to fix the repairs and damage. If you carry just property damage and liability, (or the bare minimum your state requires), you can get insurance at much lower rates.
It's really best to inquire with your automobile insurance company first. They will work with you and give you the best deal for having multiple policies and vehicles with them. If they don't, they're a really crappy insurance company then!
