If you're from NJ, you know how much insurance can vary from company to company. As Dutchmen said, just go for liability to keep it cheap. Just remember, a 1984 vehicle is OLD! Forget the cosmetic stuff, you could be paying a fortune to repair the transmission, engine, etc. even if you normally do simple things like braked on your car, chances are you don't have the tools to do the work on a truck chassis. Then you have to consider how much more it costs to have a mechanic do the work since it's a truck. Good luck, just don't jump into it without thinking about it.
