I think you mean your RVing trips are 2-6 hours from your home.
One reason RVers get a Good Sam Membership is for the small discount on RV parks. If you do RV parks that might be a reason to join. Another reason is vehicle insurance, roadside service and mail forwarding service. You'd have to decide if this would be worthwhile to you. It's not for everyone.
