I asked specifically about Les Schwab both in Parker and Highlands Ranch. The Dispatcher said no to them. I really don't want to purchase a new tire for $500 or more. Good Sam is insisting that unless I have a spare, I must purchase a new tire. As for changing the tire, this is a bus tire, not a smaller tire. This is the whole reason to have the roadside assistance.
You must have an inflated tire on a rim for GS to change it. Otherwise, you have to get a tire, plus pay the cost to have that tire mounted on your rim that you already have. You will have to pay $500 + for a tire, plus the labor charge of mounting the tire at around $150 or so. It's gonna cost you no matter what. They are not going to supply you a tire. They aren't going to send a truck out to inflate or repair your tire.
Sounds like you've come up with the best option. Wait till monday. Air it up and drive it somewhere to get it repaired or replaced. This is a cost that every RV owner needs to be aware of and why we purchased a spare tire and used rim to carry with us on our trips. Our Thor motorhome didn't come with a spare either. Fortunately I have smaller tires and got a new Michelin for $200 at Discount Tire and they found me a used pull off wheel. In total, it cost me about $350. But I don't have to worry about being overcharged for a new tire and having to pay a mounting fee. And my GSRA (that I have until 2020) will come out and change the tire for me.
The cost of tires for motorhomes has been a discussion lately between my wife and I. The difference between the cost of your tires and our tires are enough to sway us to not get a motorhome in the future with the larger tires.
