No openings

Tried several times to get into CC park in Delaware. Never never no openings. They should just drop out of system.

Something simple like one reservation for any given date range per camping vehicle license plate (trailer, motorhome, etc), and you must have that plate when you check in. This would eliminate loop-holes like creating multiple account.
  • Only ONE C2C affiliate private membership CG in Delaware...
    Limited sites for C2C use
    Destination resort.....beaches/location

Wonder why it is popular :H

Bet those other C2C members are glad to get in.
  • Like most of us you need to understand the earliest date that reservations can be made for a given CG (they all vary), and make your reservations on that date. Especially if they are for a holiday weekend. We make our Florida State Park reservations for Spring Break exactly 11 months in advance every year. We've never had an issue getting in. Good luck.

  • Is it walk-in, or online reservations?

Most of the state parks here in Michigan sell out for holidays and summer weekends between Thanksgiving and New Years. It's sad because so many abuse the res system. They'll reserve at multiple parks and then cancel last minute, ruining it for other campers and cheating the park out of much needed revenue.

I like that I can make reservations, but feel there should be a no-refund policy. If I'm having an emergency and can't make it, $100 lost on a campground isn't be a big concern.
