The RV was stopped on a dirt lot off route 70 in Las Cruces, New Mexico along side the service road. It was the neighborhood we were in that made us very uncomfortable being we had to spend the entire night there. We had no brakes so we did not have much of a choice. Later on when the traffic on the service road was very light and the brakes cooled enough we drove the service road very slowly less then two miles down the road where there was a parking lot with a large furniture store.
Remains a partial story at best and sounds like a posting made earlier having since been locked.
Uncomfortable? Was that because of what the people in the area looked like? I won't go further but suffice it to say your reticence in actually calling the police paints a entirely different picture than one of danger.
Was it outright refusal to send help or was it in sending timely help considering you were off the road and in a lot?
I'm not trying to belittle your complaint but if you want sympathy perhaps you need to be more forthright in your statements.
