For the amount you paid in premiums plus your deductible, you probably would have been better off not having any extended warranty. When an item reaches a certain age, certain types of service contracts, extended warranties, and insurances just aren't worth it any more.
My Springdale TT was only 6 years old, and I could not find a replacement for the outside shower that actually matched. Luckily, the dealership (service shop) guys were excellent and tracked one down for me at an RV salvage location. We did not have any kind of extended service, and because the part was needed replaced because of simple age and wear and tear, there was no insurance to claim either. But, they did replace it for me, all for around $100. I was VERY happy!
Sometimes, it's best to just keep your money and pay for a repair when it happens.
