Other Plans? Any experience of Allstate?

Can anyone out there give me a comparison of the Allstate RV Roadside plan and the Good Sam RSA? If anyone uses the Allstate plan please let us know how you feel. I am leaning toward Good Sam despite the complaints we all see here.

I notice that the Allstate plan has a higher rating (slightly) on Top Ten Reviews.com than Good Sam...for whatever that might be worth???

I also notice that Allstate guarantees a 30 minute response time or 25% off your next years renewal.

Lets please leave Coachnet out of this discussion. I have and am still considering it, but want to hear about Allstate vs Good Sam.

I am not looking for more complaints about Good Sam's RSA (I know most of those) but more of a comparison of personal experiences with Allstate.

    The Allstate membership plans are not what I was talking about. There probably is a difference in what Allstate sells as THEIR road service plan and what GS does, but that does not mean that GS cannot contract with Allstate to supply or dispach their services. Two different issues. I think I agree with your last sentence however. :)

    I was with Allstate for 15 years. One of the reasons I switched is because I was told by an account rep that my RV was not covered. Also the last two times I used them their service was amazingly horrible, the details of which would require too much time to list.

    We had Allstate a few years ago, Do not know if they changed. But we called for help changing a tire. Their agent with an accent answer was - No can find you on map! No matter that we even gave the mailing address(street) of the gas station we were at. No can find you on map! Sure did not help. She hung up without giving us a Ref# so we had trouble getting reembursed for out of pocket. Good Sam or Coachnet road service only for us
