Phone service

Your phone system does not work for me . Push this number for that , push this number for something else .My phone goes blank and there ain't no numbers to push . Do I need a new phone or a new Insurance company , I have been with you for over twenty years . Is there a number that will bypass all the B.S.

  • Just keep hitting 0,gets past all the prompts. May take 2 or 3 times but it's what I always do.
  • Yes welcome to the 21st century. Because he has posted under Good Sam Insurance, I think that's the company he is referring to, but it applies to almost all companies with more than 2 or 3 employees. It is also the phones that we use are part of the issue.
    Yes press 1,2..... to take you to he next part of the menu and so on.
    Also, my iPhone is programmed to go blank/lock after 1 minute, but I can change that setting quite easily, if I want or need to.

  • You need to learn how to use the phone itself. The screen going blank happens when you haven't used the screen so it blanks the screen to save battery use. Whomever you're calling has nothing to do with why your phone screen times out from inactivity and goes blank.

    No. Not with insurance companies, government or other businesses. I’ll bet the business you work for or did work for has a phone system such as you dislike. Some insurance companies have great websites...forms for claims etc. Get used to it...we aren’t going back, and complaining about it wastes your time.

    Maybe, if you post the name of your insurance company, someone who uses the same company can give you advice.
  • Seems like you need to learn how to use your phone. You should be able to access a key pad on your phone during a call.
