This "would" have been my 3rd year with Good Sam. I have the Platinum Plus plan. In 2014 it was $150. Last year it was $180. This year they want $220 to renew. These price increases along with the crappy Canadian dollar no longer allows them to compete here. When I first started, it was a bit cheaper than our best CAA plan. This year the best CAA plan is $100 cheaper than my renewal. In the 3 years, CAAs price has not changed.Good bye Good Sam.

Platinum plus was the only one I wanted as it gave the flexibility of towing 100 miles of my choice. I am an automotive technician by trade and I want the ability to tow it to my shop if its within range. CAA offers that flexibility as well along with 1 tow as far as 200 miles of my choice.

I have AAA Plus with the RV upgrade and the bill just came $136.00
Here is the break down
$48 for membership.

$51 for the AAA plus,100 miles towing to any place you want.

$37 RV, RV provides up to 100 driving miles of towing for motor homes, pickup trucks with campers, travel trailers (including fifth wheel), motorcycles, camping trailers, snowmobile trailers, and boat trailers.

Last year it was $133.00

Here in Canada the most expensive CAA rv package is $199 cdn. Our Canadian dollar has rebounded slightly now. The Good Sam Platinum plus is $220 US which (today) is $293 cdn.
