Rain Rain go away! Good Sams have a backup plan?

A suggestion would be for GS to use Twitter and Facebook to get information to people quickly when it is available. Those that use those services can hopefully then get it out to people "the old fashion way."

Yes - not at the Rally but we AZ folks know that you CANNOT predict monsoons!! (nor Haboobs!!).

Just received some information to pass along:

Syracuse Rally update:
Syracuse has been experiencing extraordinary rainfall over the last two weeks. Due to the extreme rainfall the existing fairgrounds RV parking lots have become un-parkable. Your safety and security is our number one priority, thus a decision was made to direct traffic to the Destiny Mall which is just a short distance to the fairgrounds. Considering our options, those currently parked at the Destiny Mall Solar parking lots will remain at that location for the remainder of the Rally. The CW/GS Rally will begin shuttle services at 8:00 a.m. starting Friday morning, June 14th to and from the New York State Fairgrounds. Buses will depart the mall parking area at the Rally Tram stop identified. We are arranging for the same on grounds services to be provided at the Destiny Mall Solar lot location. In the event of emergency, please dial 911. For non-emergencies please call the Destiny Security office at 315 466 6011.

We are doing everything possible to cope with these unforeseen conditions and we appreciate your patience and understanding.

For further updates, please continue to visit the Rally website or stop by the registration/reception building at the Fairgrounds open each day at 9 am.

I agree 100%. I have been in mall lot for almost 4hrs and haven't seen one GS Rep.

We would like to suggest that good Sam send some people out to
Explain to members what is going on and keep them update. People
Do not like to be left in limbo.

Yep, GS should have anticipated a monsoon in upstate NY and planned accordingly. :h

We are very sorry for any frustrations and inconvenience that you are experiencing. Due to the record rainfall in Syracuse, the highways are flooded and we are trying to take care of everyone as best we can. We will get everyone parked on the grounds as soon as possible.
