Surely you understand that the requirement for a campground to be a GS park is that they pay the yearly fee. Kind of like the requirement to be a GS member is to pay the fee.
The GS ratings (imho) are usually fairly accurate and GS will change them if you contact them. However you have no reason to have higher expectations of a GS Park.
