Really wonder about you Marcus

When I heard there was a change at Good Sam I was happy to think that You (Marcus) would be stepping up to make this a first class company. The amount of spam I get in both email and snail mail is really shocking. If you are spending this type of money on these campaigns I have no doubt the prices that people pay at Good Sam cannot be competitive. The most recent that grinds me is the renewal notice in my e-mail that wants me to confirm to receive more junk from more unwanted vendors. I simply throw all Good SAM Mail in the junk without opening it now. It really grinds me that in the email it says you can opt out but when you hit the button Good Sam requires you to email. BS BS BS
You have not filled the shoes I thought you would have as the Good Sam actions speak louder than your words.

  • Oh boy!

I always ask my wife when she gets the mail if we got good mail or bad mail. She finally figured out what I was referring to. Bad mail = BILLS! Good mail = spam junk! I'll take all the spam junk anyone sends me! That don't cost me anything. But one bill... and somehow I always get fuming!

E-mails? Well, there's the "delete" key! Life goes on. It's too short to stress!

Solution for your e-mail? Open a new e-mail account and give it to ONLY the people you communicate with on a regular basis. The the other one for businesses, junk mail, etc. It keeps your life real simple! once the box gets full, they can't send you any more!
  • Check your forum preference's too. scroll down to the bottom and Make sure that all of the GS junk/spam to your email boxes are UNCHECKED. And then check your preferences every month or so because they like to go back in and check them again for you.

If the CW/RV.Net police don't get here first which happens often. You may have noticed them on other threads. :B

You're correct. They deleted an entire thread about their failures with managing the Coast to Coast program. I've noticed a lot of threads "disappearing" as of late as Camping World works to sanitize its image.

I guess that's easier than actually correcting faults.
  • What GREAT insight. Everyone should know the way to become a successful business is to cut back on your advertising. Apparently Mr. Lemonis skipped that class at Harvard or Wharton or whatever business school he attended. The fact that Good Sam Enterprises has consistently posted increasing sales and record profits is proof positive that management doesn't have a clue as to what they are doing. And Mr. Lemonis is so poorly thought of throughout the business world that a business television network hired him to do a show about how to turn around failing businesses. No way a television company would want to hire someone who knew what they were doing to be the face of a program like that.
  • I've never had any spam but I did go to their website under my account and unselect a bunch of notifications/email broadcasts.

    Its easy. Go do it.

  • I had GS at one time but I had a heck of a time to get the discounts when visiting cg's/ one cg told me that they either raise their rates or drop GS discounts. so I thought why pay GS if I'm not getting any benefits from them.
