Road side assistance
I am a new RV owner . Please let me know what is a good roadside assistance company that y'all would recommend . I d died if I had to wait forever. I live in Louisiana .

- Just be aware that no matter which roadside company you chose, there is a good chance you will have to wait a "long" time. Just part of it.
- I currently have Good Sam, but I am going to add AAA. AAA RV Premiere is cheaper than the top of the line Good Sam (137 vs. 160) but I have read on this forum and others and the problems that have occurred with Good Sam although with the 4 breakdowns we had, Good Sam took care of us very well. We have the basic Good Sam at $80 right now.
- I have had Coach Net and Good Sam. Six of one, half a dozen of the other, not much difference..
- From reading this forum I conclude all are "good"; none are perfect. None own the tow companies or roadside repair companies they contract with and the service is only as good as the weakest link. Sometimes outstanding, sometimes terrible. Seems to depend a lot on the day of the week, holidays and location.
- I would recommend you first check with your insurance company to see if they provide roadside coverage for a motorhome; ours does. Not a commercial, but it's GEICO.

X3- I've used Allstate RV RS since 1997 and have called on them numerous times for help. They have always been responsive in a timely manner. Of course your experience might be different as with anything in life.
