The first time I called was 10 miles out of Alexandra, La. I blew a tire on the 5th wheel and called GS. was told it would it would be around 1 hr. I waited two and a good Samaritan stopped and helped me change it. I called GS to tell them I was on the road and they told me they had not found anyone to send. The second time I was in the city of Monte Vista Colorado on the city police parking lot. Blew another tire. Waited for GS for over an hour and they called to tell me there was no one in that area to change it. Again I changed it my self. The transmission incident was between Abilene, Texas and Cisco, Tx. They hauled it to a garage that said they didn't work on Allison transmissions, so we had to pay to have it hauled to a Chevy dealer that I had to pay for.
Sounds like you blow a lot of tires. AS far as the transmission issue, could it be that the repair facility wasn't aware that your transmissions was an Allison transmission? Did you tell GS when you called them that you had an Allison transmission and that they need to find a place that can fix it? The people on the other end of the phone are not mechanics or fortune tellers. I for one wouldn't know that your truck had a certain type of transmission and that certain places wouldn't work on them.
