I carry the basic required coverage on my 2001 Chevy truck. I have $1mil. lia. What kind of large lawsuit am I opening myself up to? Comp and Coll cover damage to my vehicle only. I doubt I will be sueing myself.
are you claiming that your state requires a minimum of $1 million dollars of liability insurance? that is the basic required coverage????

Re-read the original post and I agree with you. They state they have the minimum state requires. I mis-read it to say they carried Lia. only. I agree the state min. is not efficient to cover damages that may occur to vehicles on the road today. My BAD.
