Salvage Title

2007 Fleetwood scorpion S1. Very rare and very hard to find. They sell within hours. Pop up camper with rear deck size 12x8 tp hold toys. Very high clearence. I only know of 3 currently for sale in the USA.

If there is no damage you should have no p problem with a VIN check or inspection.

I'm curious. What type of camper did you buy?

Even with no damage it has to be salvage title by law. Lool up rules fot Colorado.

Yes Im aware of the process. I have appointment with State police for vin verification and vin check. I have all the forms to get tags. I have talked with Dmv. So it will get tags. Insurance is my question

Insurance may be the least of your problems. In most states you cannot get a tag for a salvage title until you pay to have it inspected and then you are issued a REBUILT title. Have you tried to get a tag for it? There are plenty of vehicles with little or no damage that get issued a salvage title when the insurance company disposes of it. I agree it makes no sense and it decreases how much the insurance company gets for it so there must be a legal reason.
Put the Vin # in Google and you will probably find which Copart facility it was sold from. Good luck.

From COLORADO DMV " A salvage vehicle is a vehicle damaged by collision, fire, flood, accident, trespass, or other occurrence, excluding hail damage, to the extent that the cost of repairing the vehicle to a roadworthy condition and for legal operation on the highways exceeds the vehicle’s retail fair market value immediately prior to such damage, as determined by the person who owns the vehicle at the time of such occurrence or by the insurer or other person acting on behalf of such owner. "

Get a cop of the application for Salvage title and find out why it is salvage
