You're making it harder than it needs to be. Cardstock can easily be slipped into the printer after the last dec page is printed. For the short run it would go a long way to make your customers happy. In the meantime you can work on something more permanent.
Keep it simple -- give us something that we can keep handy. Then take whatever time you need to do a long-term fix. "Looking into" a solution smacks of an attitude of "not going to happen", when it doesn't have to be a big, darn, deal.
