The savings would be based on your individual insurance, so that question is very difficult to answer. It would depend on your yearly rate, and how long it is in storage.
We have had GMAC for many years, and have been quite satisfied.
The storage option is very easy. Never had a problem, and have done it at least 20-30 times.
We have used it over the years on 5'rs and Motorhomes. Only caveat is it must be 30 days minimum in storage.
In Az, all I had to do when we had a motorized rv, was fill out a de-insure certificate on line at the MVD. Your State may vary, since not all States allow you to drop liability coverage.
