Basically the same thing happened to us a few years back. We were put on hold by the dispatcher and never did get to talk with anyone to ask for help. State Patrol called a tow two hours later telling us this particular part of I405 near Bellevue, WA was too hazardous to sit on the shoulder any longer while "on hold." I had to pay the $200 tow and GSERS would pay nothing. We too are again looking for an ERS plan just not sure which one to get. A little skeptical about trying the GS one again!
