I am in total disbelief how poorly Good Sam responded to us today. After my wife trying to explain that we were 4 miles south of the city, on the Interstate, giving very clear instructions on our very unique vintage tow vehicle and vintage trailer which had a flat tire, we finally gave up. As I lay in the dirt on the side of the road some honest to goodness Good Samaritans with no affiliation to Good Sams Organization were kind enough to pull over and give me half an hour of their time to get the trailer up, blown out tire off, repair damage enough that the spare tire would fit, and made sure we were ok getting to a tire shop. I no longer can refer to Good Sams as anything but Bad Sams (BS) as an organization. I will make no bones about it to anyone I meet in Camp Grounds or on the road - you can not trust this organization to deliver when you are in need.
And yes, I did attempt to speak to a supervisor once we got home but after 15 minutes on hold I realized that they were nothing more than a marketing firm who can not or will not deliver on their promises.
Shame on them. Shame on you Mister President, for allowing what used to be a fine organization fall in to such a state.
