Terrible Service

Last Monday we were headed home when we had a blow out on the front drivers side of our fifth wheel. DW said we will call road side assistance. We did got put on the hold that All agents were busy that there would be a wait until one was free. Mind you we are on I 59 30 Miles south of Hattiesburg. with large trucks coming at us. Finally a operator answers. Ask a bunch of questions which we answer. she said that she will call us back in 15 to 20 minutes. After 45 minutes we call back and get another person. She said let her check. puts on hold seemed like for ever but about 10 minutes. She said the first operator passed it down to another agent. who went home. That she would handle it . give her 15 to 20 minutes. She did call back and said that she was working on it and it will take a few more minutes. With that I told DW w that I will have to do it myself. Bad back and COPD. I went ahead and changed it the young lady called back several time saying she was not having any luck. about that time I finished up she called and said that she found some one but it would be 4 to 6 hours before the could get there. Sat for over two hours on a busy interstate. I did throw my back out and triggerd my COPD At this time I have to consider this a worthless purchase. Oh yea we got three different flyers from Good Sams wanting us to purchase other products

  • After reading about terrible service so often, I am seriously considering non-renewal when it expires. Is this just a case of the good service not getting reported?

The good news is, you had this happen somewhere that you could handle the flat yourself, even though it was inconvenient and something you shouldn't have had to do.
Imagine if you were in a position you could not have taken care of it yourself. How would you be feeling then?

    Wow, how helpful. (Not)

  • Maybe Good Sam will send someone out to massage your back ;) Probably as good of a chance as them getting someone to change your tire.

Sounds pretty typical and why I do my own tore changes if I have a flat which is rare. I'm older (almost 70) and have issues too. Last one I changed was on the side of the interstate in the breakdown lane on the drivers side with inconsiderate motorists whizzing by inches from me at 70+ per. Yes, I had my triangles out and yes, few moved over. People are very ignorant today. All about me too and not you.

I agree. You think is "all about you and no one else".
